Translation 101

Enabling international Pulsing

If you want to Pulse to multiple regions OnePulse will help you with translationing your Pulse. Here are some key terms to understand:

Input Language: This is the language the Pulse is written in, either by yourself or AI. AI will write in the language you used in the research objective.

Target Language: the specific language of the region where the Pulse is being sent.

Pulse creation

Pulses are sent in the language of the country they are targeted to. If the input language differs from the target language, the app will translate the Pulse upon publishing.  If the input and target languages are the same, the application will detect the language is the correct one and will not attempt to translate.  You can view and edit translations by clicking the link above the Publish button.  This can be useful for ensuring brand names haven't been accidentally translated.

Pulse results

Pulse results are displayed in the input language. If you had edited the translation, the edited translation becomes the input language. Results can be translated into another language, and the editor highlights the input and target languages where appropriate.
